Frequently asked
How much does a dental implant cost in Houston?
Single tooth implants at Omega start at $2,800, full-arch (All-on-4) from $22,000 per arch. Insurance often covers part of the restoration. Most patients finance through Cherry, Affirm, or Sunbit with 0% APR plans up to 18 months.
How long does a dental implant last?
Properly placed implants last 25+ years and often a lifetime. The titanium post fuses with your bone and becomes permanent. The crown on top may need replacement after 15-20 years, similar to a natural crown.
Is the implant procedure painful?
Most patients report it's less painful than they expected. The placement is done under local anesthesia or IV sedation. Recovery typically involves mild soreness for 2-3 days, manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.
How long does the whole implant process take?
Single tooth: 3-6 months from placement to final crown (the implant needs ~3 months to integrate with bone). Full-arch All-on-4: a temporary set is placed the same day, final prosthesis at 4-6 months.
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most adults are. The key factors are bone volume (we may recommend bone grafting if you've had teeth missing for years), gum health, and being healthy enough for a minor outpatient procedure. We do a free 3D CBCT scan at the consultation to assess.
Do you accept dental insurance for implants?
Yes. We accept most major dental plans including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Guardian, Humana, and others. Many plans cover the crown portion of the implant. We verify your benefits before treatment begins.
