Saturday Hours

Dentist Open Saturday in Houston

We are open Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm at 106 West Gray Street in Midtown, with parking on site. Saturday is a regular appointment day here, not an answering service: cleanings, exams, second opinions, and the tooth that started hurting on Friday night.

Saturday, 9:00am to 3:00pm, in Midtown

Most Houston dental offices close Friday afternoon and reopen Monday. We do not. Saturday mornings are one of the busiest stretches of our week, and they exist because of a simple fact: the people who most need dental work are the ones who cannot leave work to get it. We are at 106 West Gray Street, between Downtown and the Medical Center, with parking in our own lot. On a Saturday the drive in from almost anywhere in Houston takes a fraction of what it does on a Tuesday morning.

What we can take care of on a Saturday

A Saturday appointment is a normal appointment. Cleanings and new patient exams, a filling, a crown that came loose, a second opinion on a treatment plan somebody else quoted you, a consultation about implants or Invisalign. If you have been putting something off for a year because of your schedule, this is the slot that fixes that. What we can do on any given Saturday depends on who is scheduled and how the day is already booked, so call and tell us what is going on. We will tell you straight whether Saturday works or whether you are better off with a weekday slot.

If something breaks on a Saturday

Call us at (713) 322-7474 as early in the day as you can. The earlier you reach us, the better the chance we can fit you in before we close at 3:00pm. Swelling in your face or jaw, a tooth knocked out, bleeding that will not stop, or pain that has stopped responding to ibuprofen are all reasons to call rather than wait for Monday. If we are already closed, our after-hours page walks through what to do for each situation and how to reach the on-call doctor.

Coming in from the rest of Houston

Weekend traffic is the one thing that makes a Midtown address easy for everybody. We see patients from Montrose, River Oaks, the Heights, Downtown, and the Museum District, and on a Saturday morning most of those are a ten to fifteen minute drive with a parking spot waiting at the end of it.

Sundays, and the rest of the week

We are closed on Sunday. Monday through Friday we are open 9:00am to 5:00pm and hold time open each weekday for same-day problems. If your Saturday question can wait until Monday, it usually can. If it involves swelling or a tooth that is getting worse by the hour, it cannot, and the after-hours page tells you what to do in the meantime.

Getting a Saturday slot

Call (713) 322-7474 or send the booking form and tell us what is going on and when you are free. Saturday hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm, and booking ahead is the surest way to get the time you want. We speak English and Spanish, and if you are a new patient the exam and cleaning is $79.99.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Are you open on Saturday?

Yes. We are open every Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm at 106 West Gray Street in Midtown Houston, with parking on site. Saturday is a full appointment day, not an emergency-only service, so you can book a cleaning, an exam, or a consultation. Call (713) 322-7474.

Are you open on Sunday?

No, we are closed on Sundays. If you have a dental emergency on a Sunday, our after-hours page explains what to do for each situation and how to reach the on-call doctor, and we can get you in first thing Monday, when we open at 9:00am.

Can I come in on Saturday if I am not already a patient?

Yes. New patients are welcome on Saturdays. A new patient exam and cleaning is $79.99, which includes digital x-rays and a real conversation about what we found. If treatment is needed, you leave with the cost in writing rather than a surprise later.

Do you see dental emergencies on Saturday?

Call (713) 322-7474 as early in the day as you can and tell us what is happening. We are open until 3:00pm, and the earlier you reach us the better the odds we can see you the same day. Facial swelling, a knocked-out tooth, or bleeding that will not stop should always be a phone call, not a wait.

Do you take walk-ins on Saturday?

Call first if you possibly can. Saturday hours are short and the schedule fills, so a two-minute phone call tells us what you need and tells you whether there is room today. If we cannot fit you in, we will say so rather than have you sit in the waiting room.

Do you file insurance for Saturday appointments?

Yes, the same as any weekday. We verify your benefits before treatment, put your share in writing, and file the claim for you. If you do not have insurance, we offer an annual membership plan at $199 and payment plans through Cherry, Affirm, and Sunbit.

Can I see a specialist on a Saturday?

Our oral surgeons, endodontist, periodontist, orthodontist, and restorative dentists all practice at the same address, but which of them is in on a given Saturday varies. Tell us what you need when you call and we will book you with the right person on the first day they are available.

Ready to talk it through?
