Dr. Shadan Alizadeh, DDS
Dr. Shadan Alizadeh is a general dentist at Omega Dental Specialists with a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston, then her Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, where she treated patients from a wide range of backgrounds across the full span of general dental care. She returned to Houston after dental school to practice in the city she now calls home.
At Omega she handles the dentistry most people come in for: checkups and cleanings, fillings, crowns and bridges, along with the cosmetic work that changes how a smile looks. Veneers and teeth whitening are a particular interest, and the result she works toward is one that still looks like your own teeth rather than an obvious piece of dental work. That starts with the planning. She takes the time to understand what a patient actually wants to change before any treatment begins, so the plan follows the goal rather than the other way around.
Being part of a multi-specialty practice changes what a general dentist can finish in one place. When a tooth needs a root canal, when a gum problem needs a periodontist, or when a tooth cannot be saved and has to come out, those colleagues work in the same office instead of at a referral across town.
